Drug intelligence / Profile preview
90Y-NRT6020 is a Class I therapeutic radiopharmaceutical developed by Chengdu New Radiomedicine Technology (NRT). It is a radioligand therapy (RLT) consisting of a small-molecule fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) ligand conjugated to the high-energy beta-emitting radioisotope yttrium-90 (90Y). The drug specifically targets fibroblast activation protein (FAP), which is highly overexpressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) within the tumor microenvironment of over 90% of epithelial-derived solid tumors. Upon binding to FAP, 90Y-NRT6020 delivers localized, high-energy beta radiation to destroy tumor cells and disrupt the supportive tumor stroma while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissues. It is currently in Phase I clinical development in China for the treatment of FAP-positive advanced malignant solid tumors.
