99mTc-14 F7 Mab is a radiolabeled monoclonal antibody used in nuclear medicine for diagnostic imaging of cancer. It consists of the monoclonal antibody 14F7, which is highly specific for the GM3 (NeuGc) ganglioside—a tumor-associated carbohydrate antigen overexpressed in various cancers such as breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), colon cancer, melanoma, and retinoblastoma. The antibody is labeled with technetium-99m (99mTc), a gamma-emitting radioisotope commonly used in medical imaging. The mechanism of action involves binding to GM3 (NeuGc) on tumor cells and enabling their detection via immunoscintigraphy or radioimmunoscintigraphy. Clinical studies have demonstrated its safety and ability to detect tumors in vivo; it has been investigated primarily as a diagnostic tool rather than a therapeutic agent[1][4][6][7].
