Drug intelligence / Profile preview
99mTc-6 is a technetium-99m-based radiopharmaceutical diagnostic imaging agent developed by Beijing Shihong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (also known as Beijing Shihong Pharmaceutical Center). It was designed for the detection and localization of neoplasms (tumors) using nuclear medicine imaging techniques. The agent utilizes the metastable nuclear isomer Technetium-99m, which emits gamma radiation that can be captured by Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) to provide non-invasive visualization of cancerous tissues. According to pipeline records from the developer, the development of this specific diagnostic candidate has been discontinued.
