99mTc-HYNIC liposome is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical imaging agent consisting of liposomal nanoparticles labeled with the radioisotope technetium-99m (99mTc). The formulation utilizes hydrazinonicotinic acid (HYNIC) as a bifunctional chelator, often conjugated to a lipid such as stearyl 6-(benzylidenehydrazinyl) nicotinamide, to stably anchor the 99mTc isotope to the liposome structure. These agents are designed to accumulate in tumor tissues via the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect, enabling non-invasive scintigraphic imaging to assess tumor development and permeability. This information can be used for personalized chemotherapy planning and monitoring treatment response.
