Drug intelligence / Profile preview
99mTc-LAG3 2-21 is a technetium-99m (99mTc) radiolabeled humanized nanobody (single-domain antibody) targeting Lymphocyte Activation Gene 3 (LAG-3) [P3.140]. Developed by researchers at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital and Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital affiliated with Tongji University, it is designed as a non-invasive SPECT/CT imaging immunotracer [P3.140]. The probe specifically binds to LAG-3, an immune checkpoint receptor expressed on exhausted T lymphocytes, allowing for the dynamic visualization of T-cell exhaustion and the spatiotemporal heterogeneity of LAG-3 expression in the tumor microenvironment during lung cancer immunotherapy [P3.140]. This imaging tool aims to predict patient responsiveness and resistance to PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors, thereby guiding clinical decision-making [P3.140].
