Drug intelligence / Profile preview
99mTc-MAG3-BIIB067 is a radiolabeled version of tofersen (BIIB067), an antisense oligonucleotide that targets the SOD1 gene. It is used in clinical studies to evaluate the distribution of tofersen in the central nervous system (CNS). The compound consists of tofersen labeled with technetium-99m (99mTc) using MAG3 (mercaptoacetyltriglycine) as a chelating agent. This radiolabeled version allows for tracking the distribution of the drug using SPECT/CT imaging techniques.
