99mTc-MIP-1405 is a technetium-99m-labeled small-molecule inhibitor specifically targeting **prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)**, which is highly expressed on prostate cancer cells. As a radiopharmaceutical developed for SPECT imaging, it rapidly binds with high affinity to PSMA-positive tumor cells, allowing for sensitive detection of primary and metastatic prostate cancer lesions, including bone and soft-tissue metastases. 99mTc-MIP-1405 demonstrates moderate PSMA binding affinity (IC50 ~4.4 nM), localizes efficiently in target lesions, and clears reasonably from non-target tissue.
