9MW3811 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed to target and neutralize interleukin-11 (IL-11). By binding IL-11 with high affinity, it blocks the activation of the IL-11 signaling pathway and inhibits downstream pathophysiological functions induced by IL-11. This mechanism is intended to provide therapeutic effects in diseases characterized by fibrosis (such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis) and certain tumors. Preclinical studies have shown that 9MW3811 can regulate interactions between tumor cells and immune cells (T cells, macrophages, tumor-associated fibroblasts), enhance inflammatory cytokine release in the tumor microenvironment, increase T cell infiltration, reduce pulmonary fibrosis area and lung collagen content, and improve lung function in animal models. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and advanced malignancies[1][2][3][4][5][6].
