Drug intelligence / Profile preview
9MW4113 is a biosimilar candidate of dupilumab, a fully human monoclonal antibody developed by Mabwell (Shanghai) Bioscience. It targets the interleukin-4 receptor alpha (IL-4Rα) subunit, thereby inhibiting the signaling of both interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), which are key drivers of Type 2 inflammation. The drug is being developed for the treatment of Th2-mediated inflammatory diseases, including atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis. Clinical development is currently in Phase 1, with studies comparing its pharmacokinetics, safety, and immunogenicity to the reference product, Dupixent.
