Overview

A-1 Exosomes is an exosome-based biologic therapy developed by Celltex Therapeutics in collaboration with the Texas A&M Institute for Regenerative Medicine. The therapy utilizes exosomes derived from autologous mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which are small extracellular vesicles that facilitate intercellular communication by delivering bioactive molecules. In the context of Alzheimer's disease, A-1 Exosomes are designed to leverage the anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties of MSC-derived vesicles to reduce neuroinflammation and prevent tissue damage in the brain through paracrine signaling. The candidate is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical development as a cell-free alternative to traditional stem cell therapies.
