Overview

A-337 is a bispecific T cell engager antibody (BiTE) designed to target both the epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM) on tumor cells and CD3 on human T cells. By binding to EpCAM and CD3 simultaneously, it redirects cytotoxic T lymphocytes to attack EpCAM-expressing tumor cells. The drug is being developed as an immunotherapy for solid tumors, leveraging the iTab platform for enhanced biological properties and safety compared to earlier EpCAM x CD3 bispecific antibodies. Preclinical studies have shown potent anti-tumor activity, favorable pharmacokinetics, and an improved safety window. It is currently in phase I clinical trials for advanced solid tumors[1][2][3].
