**A10-TQ-PBM-NP** is an experimental PSMA-targeted nanomedicine for docetaxel-resistant prostate cancer. It consists of the phytochemical **thymoquinone** encapsulated in planetary ball-milled polymeric nanoparticles based on starch and poly(epsilon-caprolactone)/poly(ethylene glycol), with the particle surface functionalized using the A10 RNA aptamer. The A10 aptamer selectively recognizes prostate-specific membrane antigen on prostate cancer cells, promoting tumor-cell uptake of thymoquinone. In preclinical docetaxel-resistant prostate cancer models, the formulation suppressed Hedgehog-pathway signaling, including GLI1 and sonic hedgehog expression, and showed greater anticancer activity than free thymoquinone or non-targeted thymoquinone nanoparticles. It remains a preclinical academic research formulation without an assigned INN or marketed brand name.
