Overview

**A19** is a preclinical, covalent venetoclax-dihydroartemisinin conjugate developed by researchers at Shenyang Pharmaceutical University and the Samuel Waxman Institute for Aging and Cancer. It incorporates a polyethylene glycol linker intended to improve the aqueous solubility and antileukemic activity of earlier venetoclax-artemisinin conjugates. A19 retains B-cell lymphoma 2 inhibition associated with venetoclax and showed in vivo antitumor activity in acute myeloid leukemia models, with reported tumor-growth inhibition of 75.6%.
