A4 (BOL Pharma)

A4 is a standardized cannabis-based pharmaceutical extract developed by BOL Pharma (Breath of Life International Pharma Ltd). It contains a specific ratio of the phytocannabinoids cannabidiol (CBD) and dronabinol (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, THC), typically formulated for sublingual administration as either medicated drops or tablets. The drug is designed to leverage the therapeutic potential of the endocannabinoid system, with THC acting as a partial agonist at CB1 and CB2 receptors, and CBD providing a multi-target pharmacological profile including 5-HT1A agonism and GPR55 antagonism.
