Overview

A9 is a murine IgG 2aK monoclonal antibody developed for the radioimmunodiagnosis of human-derived squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). It reacts with most SCCs and was radiolabeled with Iodine-131 (I-131) to enable imaging and localization of SCC tumors. Studies in nude mice bearing human SCC tumors demonstrated its feasibility for imaging and suggested its potential for therapeutic applications in radiosensitive tumors.
