AASTY-TLR is a preclinical immunomodulatory copolymer developed by Polyceutix for the treatment of muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). Administered via intratumoral injection, the copolymer solubilizes tumor cell lipid bilayers and membrane proteins into polymer-lipid particles, also known as nanodiscs. This process releases cancer neoantigens in a solubilized form, facilitating their uptake by immune cells. The copolymer is conjugated with a Toll-like receptor (TLR) agonist that amplifies immune activation, triggering an adaptive anti-tumor response. The technology was developed as a spinout from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
