Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**AB-CD01** is a preclinical, seven-bacteriophage cocktail developed for **Clostridioides difficile infection**. The product was licensed from the University of Leicester by AmpliPhi Biosciences as AmpliPhage-004 and was designed to use lytic bacteriophages to selectively infect and kill susceptible *C. difficile* bacteria. Public AmpliPhi materials described efficacy in an animal model and plans for manufacturing, but no clinical development of AB-CD01 was identified.
