**Ab-XYZ-I-73LnP** is an experimental EGFR-targeted immunoliposome formulation developed for pancreatic cancer. It consists of PEGylated liposomal nanoparticles encapsulating XYZ-I-73, a lauroyl chloride-conjugated 5-fluorocytosine-derived 5-fluorouracil analog, with an epidermal growth factor receptor monoclonal antibody conjugated to the liposome surface. The antibody is intended to promote preferential delivery to EGFR-expressing pancreatic tumor cells, while the encapsulated modified fluoropyrimidine provides cytotoxic antitumor activity. In reported pancreatic cancer cell and KPC mouse studies, the formulation showed greater cytotoxicity, apoptosis, systemic exposure, half-life, and tumor accumulation than 5-fluorouracil.
