Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**AB001** is ARTBIO's investigational prostate-specific membrane antigen-targeted alpha radioligand therapy for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. Previously referenced as **212Pb-NG001**, it is a PSMA-binding small molecule chelated to lead-212. Following PSMA-mediated tumor localization and internalization, lead-212 and its alpha-emitting decay products deliver high-linear-energy-transfer radiation over a short path length, producing cytotoxic DNA damage in PSMA-expressing tumor cells. AB001 is being evaluated in the ARTISAN Phase 1 study, including patients who are either naïve to or previously treated with lutetium-177 PSMA radioligand therapy.
