Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AB003 is a preclinical-stage fusion protein drug conjugate (FDC) developed by AKSO Biopharmaceutical (also known as AKSO Biotechnology) for the treatment of solid tumors. It consists of a PD-L1/PD-L2-targeting decoy receptor fusion protein conjugated to a hypoxia-activated payload. By targeting both PD-L1 and PD-L2, AB003 is designed to inhibit immune checkpoint pathways while selectively delivering its cytotoxic payload to the hypoxic microenvironment characteristic of solid tumors, thereby minimizing systemic toxicity and enhancing therapeutic efficacy. The candidate is currently in IND-enabling development.
