Overview

AB0061 is a bispecific antibody (bsAb) currently in Phase I clinical development for the treatment of hematologic malignancies. Developed by Protheragen, the molecule is designed to function as a T-cell engager by simultaneously binding to CD19, a marker highly expressed on B-cell malignancies, and CD3, a component of the T-cell receptor complex. This dual binding brings cytotoxic T cells into close proximity with malignant B cells, triggering T-cell activation and directed lysis of the tumor cells. AB0061 is part of a growing class of immunotherapies aimed at providing targeted treatment options for patients with B-cell lymphomas and leukemias.
