Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination investigational regimen containing four agents: - **AB122**: a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) immune checkpoint on T-cells, blocking its interaction with ligands such as PD-L1 and reversing immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment. - **TAS-120** (futibatinib): an oral, irreversible small-molecule inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR) 1–4, designed to block oncogenic signaling in tumors harboring FGFR genetic alterations. - **Carboplatin**: a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent inducing DNA cross-linking and subsequent tumor cell apoptosis. - **Nab-paclitaxel**: albumin-bound paclitaxel, a nanoparticle formulation of paclitaxel that binds to tubulin, stabilizes microtubules, and inhibits cell division, with increased tumor uptake compared to solvent-based paclitaxel. This combination is investigational and is being explored for anti-cancer activity in advanced solid tumors and cancers such as non-small cell lung cancer and potentially other tumor types.
