Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABBV-1758 is an investigational monoclonal antibody being developed by AbbVie for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. It is designed to target and clear amyloid-beta (Aβ) protein, a key pathological hallmark of the disease. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to assess its safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics when administered via intravenous or subcutaneous routes. Like other anti-amyloid therapies, its goal is to reduce the amyloid burden in the brain to potentially slow cognitive and functional decline in patients with early-stage Alzheimer's disease.
