Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABBV-313 is an investigational monoclonal antibody developed by AbbVie, currently in Phase 1 clinical development. It targets the CD40 ligand (CD40L, also known as CD154), a protein primarily expressed on activated T cells that plays a critical role in the costimulatory pathway by binding to CD40 on B cells and other antigen-presenting cells. By inhibiting the CD40L-CD40 interaction, ABBV-313 aims to modulate immune responses and is being explored for the treatment of various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. Early clinical studies are focused on assessing its safety, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity in healthy participants.
