Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABBV-368 + ABBV-181 is an investigational combination therapy being studied for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors, including triple negative breast cancer and recurrent/metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. ABBV-368 is a monoclonal antibody targeting OX40, a co-stimulatory immune checkpoint receptor, intended to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. ABBV-181 (budigalimab) is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to promote T-cell mediated anti-tumor activity. The combination aims to augment anti-tumor immunity by simultaneously increasing T-cell activation (via OX40 stimulation) and blocking immune suppression through PD-1 inhibition. AbbVie is the developer of both agents[1][2][3][8].
