ABBV-637

ABBV-637 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by AbbVie for the treatment of solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), conjugated to a Bcl-extra large (Bcl-XL) inhibitor. The mechanism of action involves dual targeting—antagonism of EGFR and inhibition of Bcl-XL—to stimulate apoptosis in tumor cells. Preclinical and early clinical data suggest that ABBV-637, especially in combination with osimertinib, may reactivate apoptotic pathways in EGFR-mutant NSCLC and demonstrate antitumor activity. The drug is being evaluated as monotherapy and in combination regimens for relapsed or refractory solid tumors.
