Overview

ABBV-7066 is an investigational fixed-dose combination therapy being developed by AbbVie for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. It combines risankizumab (Skyrizi), a humanized monoclonal antibody that selectively targets the p19 subunit of interleukin-23 (IL-23A), with ABBV-701 (FG-M701), a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting tumor necrosis factor-like ligand 1A (TL1A). By simultaneously inhibiting the IL-23 and TL1A pathways, ABBV-7066 aims to address multiple disease-driving inflammatory and fibrotic pathways to achieve superior clinical and endoscopic efficacy compared to monotherapies. The combination is currently being evaluated in a Phase 2 platform basket study in patients with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.
