ABCL575 is a fully human, Fc-silenced, half-life extended monoclonal antibody that targets OX40 ligand (OX40L). It is being developed by AbCellera for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis and has potential applications in other inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. The drug works by binding to OX40L, thereby blocking its interaction with OX40 on immune cells. This blockade disrupts a key signaling pathway involved in T cell-mediated inflammation, which is central to the pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis. Preclinical studies have demonstrated potent inhibition of inflammatory pathways, favorable tolerability, and an extended in vivo half-life that may allow for less frequent dosing compared to current therapies. As of mid-2025, ABCL575 has received authorization from Health Canada to begin Phase 1 clinical trials[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8].
