Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABD is an alpha radioligand therapy (ART) being developed by ARTBIO for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). The drug consists of a targeting ligand labeled with the alpha-emitting isotope Lead-212 (212Pb). This approach is designed to deliver potent, localized radiation to cancer cells, inducing double-stranded DNA breaks while sparing healthy tissue. ABD is currently in the discovery stage and is part of ARTBIO's proprietary pipeline of 212Pb-based radiopharmaceuticals. The molecular target of the ligand remains undisclosed.
