Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABFex-M is an oral fixed-dose combination therapy developed by Ind Blues Pharma for the management of chronic respiratory and allergic conditions, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and allergic bronchitis. It is formulated as a tablet containing three active ingredients: acebrophylline (a mucolytic and bronchodilator), fexofenadine (a selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist), and montelukast (a cysteinyl leukotriene receptor antagonist). Together, these components work synergistically to relax airway smooth muscle, reduce mucus viscosity, and inhibit allergic inflammatory pathways, thereby improving breathing and controlling allergy-related airway symptoms.
