ABL216

ABL216 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by ABL Bio. It is designed to target a specific antigen, internally designated as Target L7, which is associated with the Transforming Growth Factor Beta (TGF-β) signaling pathway. The TGF-β pathway is a well-known driver of tumor progression, fibrosis, and immune evasion in the tumor microenvironment. As an ADC, ABL216 consists of a monoclonal antibody specific to the L7 target conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. This approach is intended to achieve selective delivery of the toxin to cancer cells expressing the target, thereby maximizing anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity. The drug is currently in the early stages of development for the treatment of various cancers.
