Overview

ABN201 is an antibody-cytokine fusion protein being developed by Abion for the treatment of solid tumors and other neoplastic conditions. The drug is designed to act as an interferon alpha/beta receptor (IFNAR) agonist by localizing interferon-beta (IFNβ) directly to the tumor microenvironment. This targeted delivery induces direct tumor cell death through interferon-receptor-induced, death receptor-mediated apoptosis and enhances the anti-tumor immune response by activating antigen-specific cytotoxic T-cells. ABN201 utilizes Abion's proprietary antibody-cytokine fusion platform and is intended for pan-carcinoma applications.
