Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABO2203 is an investigational mRNA-based bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapy that encodes a bispecific antibody targeting both CD19 and CD3. The drug is designed to stimulate cytotoxic T lymphocytes by engaging the CD19 antigen on B cells and the CD3 complex on T cells, thereby redirecting T cells to eliminate pathogenic B cells. It is being developed primarily for refractory autoimmune diseases, including idiopathic inflammatory myopathies and lupus nephritis, particularly in patients who have not responded adequately to standard therapies. The product utilizes lipid nanoparticle delivery of mRNA encoding the bispecific antibody[1][2][3].
