ABOR2013 is an investigational therapeutic mRNA vaccine designed to target specific mutations in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene commonly found in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The vaccine encodes for antigens corresponding to EGFR L858R, EGFR T790M, and EGFR exon 19 deletion mutations. Its mechanism involves inducing an immune response against tumor cells harboring these driver mutations. Developed by ABON Biopharm (Hangzhou), it is being evaluated as monotherapy or in combination with PD-1 monoclonal antibody therapy for advanced NSCLC with EGFR-positive mutations[1].
