Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABP 300 is a human monoclonal neutralizing antibody against SARS-CoV-2 being developed by Abpro for the treatment of COVID-19. It targets the receptor-binding domain of the viral spike (S) protein, thereby blocking interaction with the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor that mediates viral entry into host cells.[1][9] In preclinical models, ABP 300 completely neutralized SARS-CoV-2, and a Phase 1 dose-escalation trial in healthy adults demonstrated a favorable safety and pharmacokinetic profile, supporting advancement into Phase 2/3 registrational studies for early treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19.[1][9][10][12]
