Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABS-003 is an investigational natural killer (NK) cell therapy currently in preclinical development by Alpha Biomedical. Designed for the treatment of breast cancer, the therapy leverages the innate immune system's ability to identify and destroy malignant cells. NK cells are cytotoxic lymphocytes that can induce apoptosis in tumor cells through the release of perforin and granzymes or via death receptor-mediated pathways. As an adoptive cell therapy, ABS-003 aims to provide a potent immune response against solid tumors in the breast.
