Overview
ABS-121 (also known as GSB-D121) is a first-in-human, clinical-stage small molecule therapeutic being developed by Aerys Biosciences in collaboration with Greenstone Biosciences. The program targets novel fibro-inflammatory mechanisms and is under development for the treatment of fibro-inflammatory lung diseases, including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). ABS-121 was discovered and validated using Greenstone's human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-derived cell and organoid platforms, which leverage new alternative methods (NAMs) and artificial intelligence to model human disease physiology. Clinical development plans include a hybrid Phase 1a/1b trial.
