Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABS005 is a sustained-release intralesional therapeutic formulation being developed by Absco Therapeutics for the treatment of high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN2/3) and other lesions associated with Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection. The product leverages Absco's proprietary Oncolymer thermogelling polymer system, which acts as a controlled-release depot. Upon intralesional injection, the polymer transitions into a gel, providing sustained local delivery of a clinically validated therapeutic agent directly to the affected cervical tissue. This approach aims to maximize local drug concentration and efficacy while minimizing systemic exposure and the need for frequent dosing.
