Overview

ABSK051 is a potent, small molecule inhibitor of CD73 (ecto-5'-nucleotidase) developed by Abbisko Therapeutics. CD73 is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of adenosine monophosphate (AMP) to adenosine, which acts as a potent immunosuppressive molecule within the tumor microenvironment. By inhibiting CD73, ABSK051 aims to decrease adenosine accumulation, thereby reversing immune suppression and promoting an anti-tumor immune response. The drug is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation for patients with advanced solid tumors, exploring its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy as both a monotherapy and in combination with other therapeutic agents.
