ABSK131

ABSK131 is a novel, orally available small molecule inhibitor that targets the MTA-cooperative binding site of protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5). It is being developed by Abbisko Therapeutics for the treatment of advanced and metastatic solid tumors, particularly those with methylthioadenosine phosphorylase (MTAP) deletion. Preclinical studies have demonstrated strong anti-tumor activity in MTAP-deleted lung and pancreatic cancer models. The drug has shown synergistic effects when combined with other therapeutic agents and is brain-penetrant. As of early 2025, IND applications for clinical trials have been approved in both China and the United States[1][3][4][5][6].
