Overview

This is an investigational combination therapy comprising ABT-165, ABBV-181 (also known as budigalimab), and paclitaxel, tested for the treatment of advanced solid tumors[3][5][7]. - **ABT-165** is a dual variable domain immunoglobulin monoclonal antibody developed as an antiangiogenic agent, targeting vascular endothelial growth factor-A (VEGF-A) and delta-like ligand 4 (DLL4). - **ABBV-181 (budigalimab)** is a fully humanized, recombinant IgG1 monoclonal antibody acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) on T-cells, blocking its interaction with PD-L1 and helping restore anti-tumor immune responses[2][4]. - **Paclitaxel** is a small molecule chemotherapeutic agent that stabilizes microtubules, thereby inhibiting mitosis and inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. The combination has been evaluated in early-stage (Phase 1/1b) trials for safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in subjects with advanced solid tumors[3][5][7]. All components are administered intravenously.
