Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AC0939 is a novel small molecule inhibitor targeting tropomyosin receptor kinases (TRK) and FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3). These kinases are implicated in oncogenic rearrangements and mutations found in various adult and pediatric cancers, including acute myeloid leukemia. AC0939 demonstrates potent and selective activity against both wild-type and mutant TRKs as well as FLT3 in preclinical studies. The drug is being developed for oncology indications, with a particular focus on acute myeloid leukemia, where it is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials. The developer of AC0939 is Zhejiang ACEA Pharmaceutical Co., which was acquired by Sorrento Therapeutics.
