Overview

**AC164204** is an Amylin Pharmaceuticals research-stage peptide hybrid, or \"phybrid,\" developed for metabolic disease. It is a single covalently linked peptide molecule comprising the GLP-1 receptor agonist exenatide analog AC3082 and the second-generation amylin analog davalintide, joined through a Gly-Gly-Gly linker. AC164204 acts as an agonist of the glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor and calcitonin receptor-based amylin receptor system. In rodent studies, it improved glucose control and HbA1c and produced greater reductions in food intake and body weight than either exenatide or davalintide monotherapy.
