Overview
Acanthopanax senticosus total flavonoids formulation (刺五加总黄酮制剂) is an innovative Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) drug candidate developed by Wusuli River Pharmaceutical. It is a purified extract of total flavonoids derived from the roots and rhizomes of *Acanthopanax senticosus* (also known as Siberian Ginseng or Ciwujia). The formulation is being developed for a broad range of therapeutic applications, including cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, oncology (anti-tumor), immune system enhancement, and anti-fatigue. The therapeutic effects are attributed to the antioxidant and immunomodulatory properties of the flavonoids, which help protect tissues from oxidative stress and modulate inflammatory responses. The drug is currently undergoing clinical phase studies in China as part of the company's innovative drug pipeline.
