Overview
Acanthopanax senticosus total saponins is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal extract derived from the root and rhizome of *Acanthopanax senticosus* (also known as Siberian Ginseng or Ciwujia). Developed by Wusuli River Pharmaceutical, this saponin-rich preparation is being investigated for its multi-target therapeutic effects, particularly in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, oncology, and immune system modulation. The extract is believed to enhance non-specific resistance to stressors, improve cardiovascular circulation, and exhibit anti-tumor properties through immune enhancement and direct inhibitory effects on cancer cell proliferation. It is currently in clinical development in China as an innovative drug candidate.
