Overview

Acasunlimab + docetaxel is an investigational combination therapy being studied primarily for the treatment of PD-L1-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Acasunlimab (also known as GEN1046 or DuoBody-PD-L1×4-1BB) is a bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets both PD-L1 and 4-1BB to enhance immune-mediated anti-tumor activity. Docetaxel is a well-established chemotherapeutic agent in the taxane class that inhibits microtubule depolymerization, thereby disrupting cell division and inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. The combination aims to leverage immune activation with cytotoxic chemotherapy for improved efficacy in patients who have progressed after prior immunotherapy and platinum-based chemotherapy[1][2][3][6].
