Overview

ACB2112 is a novel small molecule drug candidate being developed by AC BioScience, a Swiss biotechnology company based at the Biopôle life sciences campus. The drug is specifically designed to enhance the efficacy of immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in the treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC). ACB2112 targets the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway, which is a key driver of immune exclusion and resistance to immunotherapy in CRC. By inhibiting this pathway, ACB2112 aims to transform "cold" tumors into "hot" tumors, thereby sensitizing them to PD-1/PD-L1 blockade and improving clinical outcomes for patients who are currently resistant to existing ICI therapies.
