**ACC** is an experimental FcRn-targeting monoclonal antibody–interleukin-2 fusion protein developed for **lupus nephritis**. The FcRn-antibody component is intended to antagonize neonatal Fc receptor-mediated IgG recycling and thereby reduce circulating pathogenic IgG and autoantibodies, while the IL-2 component provides cytokine signaling intended to preserve regulatory T-cell function. In an MRL/lpr mouse model, ACC reduced anti-dsDNA antibodies, renal IgG/C3 deposition, plasma-cell and effector T-cell populations, and histopathologic renal injury; it was also reported to have improved stability and renal accumulation relative to conventional IL-2.
