Designed for subcutaneous administration, ACC085 aims to provide a sustained preventive solution against HIV-1 transmission, potentially offering a more convenient alternative to daily oral PrEP regimens. The drug is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials in China to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and effects on the QTc interval in healthy adults.
