ACDx

ACDx (Albumin Companion Diagnostic) is a radiopharmaceutical imaging agent developed by Centurion BioPharma Corporation, a subsidiary of CytRx Corporation. It is designed as a companion diagnostic to identify cancer patients who are most likely to respond to albumin-binding cytotoxic drug candidates, such as LADR-7, LADR-8, LADR-9, and LADR-10. The diagnostic utilizes imaging agents to radiolabel the patient's endogenous albumin, allowing for the non-invasive visualization and quantification of albumin uptake at tumor sites via molecular imaging. This approach targets the biological process of increased albumin accumulation in solid tumors, which serves as a nutrient source for cancer cells and a delivery mechanism for albumin-conjugated prodrugs. ACDx is intended for use across various solid tumors, including lung, breast, ovarian, head and neck, renal cell, and melanoma.
